Ingredients:
- 2 pounds clams, cleaned
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Melt the butter in a big pan over medium-low heat
Add the minced garlic and cook for about one minute, until the garlic smells good
Put the cleaned clams in the pan and pour white wine over them
Put the lid on and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until the clams open
Take the clams out of the pan and set them aside
Add the heavy cream to the pan and heat it until it starts to simmer
For about two to three minutes, cook until the sauce gets a little thicker
To taste, add salt and pepper to the sauce
Add the clams back to the pan and toss them around to coat them in the sauce
The clams should have chopped parsley on top of them
Serve hot, and if you want, top with more parsley
